Running circles in my mind Mystery that never fades awayAll I ever wanted was to understand why life rearrangedI've been unwell since 2020, but despite a plethora of tests, the doctors can't yet figure out what's wrong with me.

Learned the shape of every ceiling Every shadow where I lay Like a stranger echoing into my pastBut I still know my nameBeing housebound - especially initially - is one of the most mentally crippling things to come to terms with. You really feel the 'four walls closing in' thing and the monotony of seeing the same scenes daily kind of makes you forget who you were.

I've built an inner voice that says 'don't hold yourself back', and here I am releasing an album of creativity.

Used to think the light was fadingFelt the sunset forever growTaught myself somehow to carry on with All the fractured parts I holdThrough the early phases of my condition, it felt a lot like my body was giving up. That's probably the scariest thing I've been through in my life.Sure there’s days the fear still finds meTries to pull me far belowThen I think of us and IRemember I just have to keep on go’nI've heard stories of others with chronic pain or illness finding reason to continue in their children or their partners, and though it sounds glib, my husband really has been my reason.
